Words of a Sommelier “Technically the two beers show great character and personality yet are pure and complex, which not only comes from high quality ingredients such as hops and pure water, but also the experience in working with these raw materials which is imprinted in the work.”

“The two types of summer beer, Pale and Dark, are only available on tap and until now only locally in the region of Magallanes. In winter they make a wonderful limited edition Jet Black Stout and other seasonals.”

The Pale Ale has an amber color that has a nose of fresh fruit aromas, citrus and a peach background, with a creamy, good structure and a bitterness that further extends its long finish.

Temperatures between 4 to 6 degrees (C) are ideal for serving; the harmony of this beer is interesting with cold meats, burgers and sweet, light desserts.

The Dark Ale is black in color with intense aromas of roasted coffee beans with a background of dark chocolate. In the mouth is very balanced showing rich freshness and warm character.

My recommendation is to drink at a temperature of 6 to 8 degrees ideal for crab, oysters and smoked salmon.

MATE 101 is a beer 100% inspired by Patagonia and its traditions. Its name pays homage the 101st anniversary of Puerto Natales, Chile - our hometown. Our brewmaster added a dose of mate to the mash and the result is a strong, delightfully bitter and exquisitely balanced golden-colored ale. Mate is a popular tea-like drink in many parts of South America but especially favored by the horsemen of the Patagonian uplands for its powerful energy, strong flavor and warming effect on the body - making this a truly Patagonian ale!

AZABACHE is a beer as black as the long inky winter night at the end of the world. Its dense body and creamy brown head have strong chocolate notes…it is the perfect beer to warm off the winter wind and goes down equally well after a hearty meal, a rich dessert or just by its lonesome.
